As the designate says, how do you say things in past tense form in Japanese? For admonition, I >vacuumed<. I >cleaned< the bathtub. I >took< out the trash. >I dusted<. I >cleaned< my stay. I >raked< the leaves.

Well, in Japanese we can come out of formal and informal past tense.
Both adjectives and verbs have existence tenses.
For verbs:
Well, formal past is easy, you should be knowledgeable about with the masu form (formal present), you

I reflect on you add -mashita to the end of the verb along side normal conjugation.

such as Iku -> Ikimashita

to rake (kakiyoseru) raked (kakiyoserimashita)

I have a circumscribed vocab though and I'm a bit rusty so hopefully
