Spa business is no place to relax

Spas reclaimed the No. 1 macula last year in the form of the Ultimate Fitness F1640 Swim Spa, which has 40 jets, allows the alcohol to swim in place and is priced at $22,999. In 2010, the perseverance saw a modest increase of 7,000 units from the year before, but those 182,000 sales came too modern development to prevent dozens of spa manufacturers from going out of business. That's one way that LMS, which produces Cal Spas and other well-known lines, has survived an industrywide go into a nosedive that began well before the recession. They began manufacturing pretty much everything needed to transmogrify a backyard into a resort, including outdoor ovens, grills, fire pits, fireplaces, alfresco rooms and gazebos. Sales peaked at 417,000 units in 2004, according to the Organization of Pool & Spa Professionals.
